Getting Started with your 1600.io Premium SAT Resources Bundle

Welcome to the 1600.io Premium SAT Resources Membership!

You have enrolled in the most powerful suite of SAT self-study resources on the planet. We encourage you to click the "My Resources" tab at the top of the window to view all of the resources you now have access to, and to explore those to see how they can support, guide, and boost your preparation for the test.

Most students engage in a cycle of learning that starts with taking a practice test or test section. You can streamline that process by using the Autoscoring Answer Form (AAF) for the test; you'll find that here. When you submit your answers for scoring, the score report will present not just the right answer, but also a button that will instantly take you to the explanation page for that question. All explanations include a video, and many of the Digital SAT practice test math problem explanation pages also include an annotated Desmos solution graph that's live and interactive, so you can work with the graph right on the explanation page.

For math problems, another button in the AAF answer report will open the SAT Math Topic Explorer (SMTEx). That will show you the topic and sub-topic associated with the problem, along with a graphical breakdown of how often similar problems have appeared on the SAT. SMTEx will also display a listing of references to all the similar problems on the released tests. If you need instruction in the topic/sub-topic related to the problem you're examining, you can click the "Open in DOB [Digital Orange Book]" button, and you'll be taken to your copy of the 1600.io Digital SAT Math Orange Book, opened to the page where the topic is explained. You can read the discussion, then work through some practice problems to check and reinforce your learning. This all provides a way to use the results of your practice tests/sections for real learning, instead of just having the process stop when you score your test. That means substantial improvements in a short time compared to just grinding through test after test with no real educational phase in your study cycle.

Take a look at the Tools and Resources, especially if you're struggling with reading. R-SMART (the Reading Section Mistake Analysis and Recommendation Tool) can help you identify the causes underlying the reasons you're choosing wrong answers in the reading section, and it makes concrete, actionable recommendations for addressing those causes, helping you rapidly level up your reading section performance. There's also a compilation of the full text sources for all the literature and history passages that have appeared on the released SATs and PSATs, along with those at Khan Academy. You can use these texts to get focused reading practice instead of trying to get better at reading by using the far-too-short passages that are on practice tests.

If you need anything from a comprehensive course encompassing all the math topics within the scope of the SAT, or you just want some targeted review for a few challenging concepts or techniques, use the Digital SAT Math Orange Book. Be sure to read the guide that explains all the features of the book so that you can use it most efficiently and effectively. Whether you're preparing for the pre-digital paper test or the new Digital SAT, the Orange Book has you covered.

Speaking of the Digital SAT, if you're preparing for that version of the test, you'll want to take our Mastering Desmos for the Digital SAT course. It teaches you everything you need to know to confidently employ the testing apps built-in Desmos graphing calculator when solving Digital SAT math problems. Smart use of Desmos can slash solving time, giving you more time to work on the tougher problems that are not susceptible to calculator solving.
